Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy anything from AC Doughworks, a sole-proprietor studio based in Pretoria, South Africa. Placing an order means you accept them.

Digital products

Buying a planner, journal or template pack gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it. You may:

• Print it as many times as you like, for yourself and your household
• Use it on as many of your own devices as you like

You may not:

• Resell, share, or redistribute the file, in whole or in part
• Upload it anywhere others can download it
• Use it commercially — for client work, resale or teaching — without a licence
• Claim the design as your own

If you want to use something commercially or with a team, that's fine — it just needs a different licence. Email info@acdoughworks.co.za.

Brand and marketing packages

• Deposit: a 50% deposit books your slot and starts the work. The balance is due on delivery, before final files are released.
• Turnaround: the stated turnaround runs in business days from the point your completed brief and any required material are received — not from the payment date.
• Revisions: two rounds on most packages, three on the Business Pro Package. A round means all your notes sent together. Additional rounds are R250 each.
• Your material: you confirm you have the right to use any photos, text, fonts or logos you supply.
• Ownership: on final payment, ownership of the delivered work transfers to you, including editable source files.
• Portfolio: the studio may show the finished work as a portfolio piece unless you ask it not to.
• Delays: if a project stalls waiting on your feedback for more than 30 days, it may be paused and rescheduled around other commitments.

Retainers

Retainers run in monthly cycles with one revision round per deliverable. There is no lock-in — cancel any time before the next cycle begins and you will not be billed again. Unused deliverables do not roll over into the following month.

Payment

Card payments are processed by Payfast and settle in South African Rand. USD prices shown are indicative for international clients; the amount your card is charged depends on your bank's rate and any fees it applies. Prices may change, but never for an order already paid for.

Refunds

Refunds are covered in the refunds and returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

Liability

The tools and services here are provided in good faith and with real care, but no promise is made about specific business outcomes — a marketing strategy is not a guarantee of sales. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service in question. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
