About this planner
A week is the only planning unit that is both long enough to be useful and short enough to be honest. This planner gives you the seven days side by side, so you can see on Monday that Thursday is already full — which is the entire point.
The layout leaves deliberate white space. There is room for the three things that actually matter each day rather than a timed grid that shames you for the hours you did not account for. A small priorities column sits alongside the week, because most weeks fail from having no stated priority, not from poor time-blocking.
How people use it
Fill it on Sunday evening or Monday morning — ten minutes is enough. Write the three priorities before the appointments, otherwise the appointments will eat them. Anything undone by Friday either moves deliberately or gets deleted; carrying it silently is how a list becomes noise.
What's inside
- Seven day columns with generous, unruled writing space
- Weekly priorities column — three per week, not thirty
- Appointments and commitments strip
- Meals-at-a-glance row, so the week's food is decided in advance
- End-of-week reflection: what worked, what moves to next week
This is for you if
- You plan in weeks rather than hours
- Your days vary too much for a fixed daily template
- You want one page on the fridge that the household can read
- You keep rewriting the same undone task and want to notice the pattern
Format
- PDF, printable A4 plus a hyperlinked version for note-taking apps
- Undated — start on any Monday, or any Wednesday
- Landscape and portrait layouts both included
Weekly planning helps you zoom out, set priorities and make your week feel manageable before it begins. AC Doughworks weekly planners are designed to support a realistic rhythm for home, work and personal goals.

Why the week is the right unit
A day is too short to see a pattern and a month is too long to act on one. The week is the only planning unit that is both useful and honest: on Monday you can see that Thursday is already full, which is information you can still do something with.
What the layout does differently
Seven columns with genuinely open writing space, rather than an hourly grid. Most people’s days are defined by a few fixed times with unpredictable gaps between them, and a timed grid mostly generates guilt about the hours you did not account for.
A small priorities column sits alongside the week. Three priorities, not thirty — most weeks fail from having no stated priority rather than from poor time-blocking.
The habit that makes it work
Fill it on Sunday evening or Monday morning; ten minutes is enough. Write the three priorities before the appointments, because if you do it the other way round the appointments will eat them.
Anything undone by Friday either moves deliberately or gets deleted. Carrying a task silently from week to week is how a list turns into background noise you stop reading.
Two sizes, depending on how much you write
The full Weekly Planner has substantially more room per day and includes a meals row and an end-of-week reflection. The single-page weekly sheet is the same seven columns stripped to their core, and is the cheapest way to find out whether weekly planning suits you before buying anything larger.
Print four or five single sheets and clip them together — that is a month for about the price of a coffee.
Paper or tablet
Printable A4 in portrait and landscape, plus a hyperlinked version for GoodNotes or Noteshelf. Undated, so you can start on any Monday — or, more realistically, any Wednesday.
